Gold Coast to Sunshine Coast

As well as there being fantastic beaches on the Gold Coast, it's also where there are sooo many theme parks. So after doing a 30 minute journey to doggy day care, we spent a Sunday at the wonderful Dreamworld.

I lost count of the number of times that Joseph went on the Vortex, a horrible spinney thing that you had to be mad to go on. Several times.

Then Alexander desperately wanted to go on "The Claw".

"If you do go on, you'll  be on your own" I told him thinking that would deter him.

It didn't! There he is facing us on the photo above, wondering if he's done the right thing.

And when he came off...he wanted to go on again !

The log flume was fun and you got a proppa drenching at the end.

It was a great day. Lots of fun and frolics.

The following day, we departed our site at Helensvale where there was this huge inflatable bouncy trampoline

and we packed up the caravan and continued our journey North. We drove through Brisbane...

...and headed for the Sunshine Coast.
